“This is actually a very well-written book about the life’s lessons and overcoming fear as an obstacle to success. I was initially skeptical as to whether a book coauthored by 50 Cent could possibly be of worth, but it is an engaging, engrossing read with quite a bit of social relevance and usefulness. Somewhat of a retread of Robert Greene’s The 48 Laws of Power with a slight flavour of Machiavelli’s The Prince, and admittedly repetitive at times, it references 50 Cent’s trials and tribulations as he doggedly climbed the ladder to success, realising along the way the need for maintaining adaptibility and for constantly reininventing oneself as experience necessitates. Its lessons about rechannelling the negative in one’s life into opportunites for growth, of how to meet adversity with optimism and courage, apply not only to decision-making in the professional arena but in life, as well.”
