“Excellent book covering the creation of America from Columbus setting out through Washington’s presidency. It is filled with excerpts from historic documents, allowing me to see what people, who were influential in shaping America, actually said or wrote. I realized much of my understanding doesn’t reflect or isn’t complete in what in reality transpired. After reading aloud several chapters to my husband, he purchased a copy for himself. He has commented how fascinating it is. I agree. There are two successive volumes I am hoping to read in the future.”
